biography

Simon Oberlohr on 22 December 1913 in Lesach born. His father is a role model for him by his versatility, technical skills. In school, ind 80 children in a class. He has a good teacher and a strict teacher. He must cooperate even as a child hard on the farm. He survived the bombardment by carpet bombing in the defense of V1 positions. He comes in Russian captivity. He sees his fate of two pages. He gets in the prison camp tool to paint pictures of mountains and billets for prisoners of war. He takes refuge in 1958 "Eagle's Rest" and begins to paint "panoramas". He is known as the "Glockner painter".
